People are often surprised when I tell them I've spent decades performing on stage. I've sung in front of crowds of thousands. I've walked onto stages with bright lights, loud music and hundreds—sometimes thousands—of eyes looking straight at me. I've also performed in tiny, intimate house concerts where there was nowhere to hide. And I absolutely loved it. From the outside, people assumed I was fearless. Confident. Unshakable. The funny thing is... They were only half right. Because...

This one might be a little uncomfortable... But it needs to be said. If you're paying someone else to ride your horse because you've lost confidence, you're solving the wrong problem. Now, before anyone gets defensive... There are absolutely times when a professional rider is worth every cent. A young horse needing miles. A horse returning from injury. A horse with genuine training gaps. A rider wanting advanced education for their horse. That isn't what I'm talking about. I'm talking about...
